How to Organise Your Upper Kitchen Cabinets

Would you believe us if we said that it's possible to organise your kitchen perfectly? Well before you scoff us into oblivion, take a look at this step-by-step guide that we've put together to help you organise your kitchen and help you save time whilst cooking.

Start by taking everything out of your cabinets and clear out a space on your counter that you can work on and sort through everything on. Once all your cabinets are emptied clean out your cabinets and decide where everything should go. Make sure you give your cabinets a good clean with any multipurpose cleaner. If you have a dishwasher, make sure you find a space close to it where you can store your plates, glasses, and any other dinnerware. Make sure your spices are placed close to where you prepare your food but not too close to the stove and find a home for your frequent-use appliances on the counter and store everything else.

Use a tape measure to measure the width, depth, and height of your cabinet space and use a shelf liner, wrapping paper, or even newspaper to protect your glasses from nicks and chips.

Take it from us, you will want to make the most of the vertical space that you have available. Get small hooks to use in the top of your cabinet to hang coffee mugs, which will leave you more space at the bottom of the cabinet for other dishes. Get stackable shelves to make it easy to separate the plates that have different functions.
