Clean it out
Take everything out! Literally everything. You need a fresh canvas after all. Whilst you’re at it, grab a couple of wipes and do a quick clean.
Decide what to keep
Once you’ve taken everything out, now it’s time to decide what you’re going to keep and what needs to find a new home, even if that new home is the dustbin.
Put in smaller storage options into the drawer
Choose an organiser that best fits the drawer. Rubber bands, twist ties, and plastic bags can also be super helpful.
Group like items together in the containers
Grouping similar items together helps in creating more order. If the container that you’ve chosen to add these items into starts to overflow, you have to find a larger container. Remember, the whole point of organising your junk drawer is to get rid of all the chaos!
