Collect or buy glass jars of the same size. Clean them thoroughly before turning into Picasso in your own home and decorate your space. This is going to be a fun, relaxed, and artistic way to turn your glass jars into more than ordinary glass jars.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Make sure you have paintbrushes, paint, and somewhere to pour different paint colours on.
Step 2: Paint each glass jar with two coats of white paint as a base. Paint the inside rim of the jar too.
Step 3: Leave the paint out to dry for a few hours. Once the paint has dried, get your rainbow colours of paint out and let the fun begin.
Step 4: To paint a gradient, start at the bottom of the jar with one colour all the way to the middle of the jar. Then move to the top of the jar with a different colour of paint, meeting the other colour in the middle. Carefully blend the colours together to create this gradient. Repeat this step with the other jars too, using the different colours you have.
Step 5: Leave your jars out to dry for a while before you can fill them with your pencils, plants, brightening over your desk for the summer. Pro Tip: To better blend the paints, we recommend using a sponge as it is easier and creates a nice textured effect.
