5 Items to Declutter from Your Kitchen

You need to make your kitchen work for you and not the other way round. There is nothing worse than when you have to stop midway whilst cooking just to find your old faithful wooden spoon. What to chuck, what to keep, and where to put it all?
Here's a couple of items you can definitely get rid of:

Dish towels

Go through all dish towels and discard the ones that have seen their better days. Take a look at your remaining towels and determine whether or not you actually need them and if you'll use them.

Cleaning supplies

Evaluate your cleaning supplies and toss those you don't use. If you have multiple bottles with the same product, then just combine them.

Spices

Chances are there are a few spices that you have only used once still hiding in your closet. It's time to toss those spices away because they've probably lost their flavour.

Kitchen gadgets

These sound amazing, but they are almost always rarely used. Don't save these items for someday; just donate them to someone who will actually use it.

Countertops

Nothing makes a kitchen look messier than a cluttered countertop. What's worse is that a cluttered countertop might actually be messy because they are difficult to wipe down. Get rid of all the small appliances, decorative accessories, and unneeded papers.
