Do you have a system to keep your snacks organised and easily accessible for anyone looking, or do you have a more free-for-all approach to that space in your pantry dedicated to just your snacks? Is this the first time you're even thinking about organising that space? Okay, we'll stop with the questions. Let's do this!
Empty out everything
This is the first step, but it's also the hardest. But it's best to start with a clean slate by clearing out everything in the drawer.
Use glass and plastic canisters
Use a mixture of glass and plastics canisters to store your cookies, nuts and soft sweets. Getting a combination of different sized containers will help you maximise the shelf space.
Use storage bins with handles
For chip bags and snacks that you'd prefer to keep in the bag they came in, get storage bins with handles. This way you're able to keep the snacks ready to eat in and the handles will help you move them in and out of place.
Regularly buy snacks
Instead of waiting until you're running low on snacks, get into the system of regularly buying snacks when you buy your groceries. That way you always have a constant supply in your drawer.
